Networking Fundamentals
How devices address each other, find each other and exchange data across local and wide area networks.

Overview
The core concepts are addressing (IP and MAC), name resolution (DNS), local delivery (switching and ARP), delivery between networks (routing), transport behaviour (TCP and UDP) and policy enforcement (firewalls and segmentation).
Learning these in order pays off immediately: nearly all connectivity troubleshooting follows the same sequence from link and address to name resolution, route, and finally application.
