Hybrid & Multi Cloud
Operating across on premises and cloud, or across multiple clouds, with consistent identity, networking, security and operations.

Overview
Hybrid is the normal enterprise state: identity synchronised from Active Directory, workloads split between data centre and cloud, and connectivity provided by VPN or private circuits. Multi cloud usually arrives through acquisition, SaaS dependency or deliberate service selection rather than as a portability strategy.
The cost of both is operational: duplicated skills, inconsistent controls and fragmented monitoring. Consistency in identity, logging and infrastructure as code is what keeps it manageable.
Security considerations
- Centralise identity and privileged access rather than maintaining parallel administrative models.
- Aggregate logs from every platform into one detection pipeline.
